Jubille Beacon Lighting Ceremony
On the 02nd of June 1KH were proud to participate in the Beacon of Light Ceremony in celebration of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee. With many members of our wider Scouting family turning up to enjoy the summers evening, watch the Beacon lighting and a small fireworks display to mark the event.
Summer Camp 2022, Blackland Farm
An amazing week for all.
With over 60 young people in attendance from our Beavers, Cubs & Scouts as well as our friends from 21st Bournemouth it was bound to be a hectic and nuts week. The weather held for us, so with sunshine all week what more could you ask for.
Fine weather, great company, food wasn't that bad either.
Day trip on the Bluebell Railway, onsite activities that included tunnels, gladiator Challenge, Crate Staking, Geocaching and of course the weekly bath otherwise known as swimming.
New friendships made, old friendships rekindled. Great memories for all that will last a life time.
